Some guests will be invited to stay in the resort's onsite cabins or yurts. If you're staying onsite, we'll coordinate lodging assignments and send your booking link during the first week of December.

If you have lodging preferences, or if the cost of accommodations would make it difficult for you to attend, please let us know. We'll do our best to accommodate everyone's needs. Please note that some cabins may be shared with multiple groups.

Early June in the San Juan Islands is beautiful, but it will keep you on your toes. You can typically expect daytime highs in the 60s and nighttime lows in the 40s, with a mix of sunshine, cool breezes, and the occasional rain shower (often all in the same day!).

Because we'll be outdoors all weekend and there isn't an indoor event space, we recommend packing for a little bit of everything: hat, sunscreen, sunglasses, a rain jacket, and plenty of warm, cozy layers for the evenings. As the date gets closer, you can check weather info HERE.

We love your kids! However, Dillon and Tayler are already too silly and would become far too powerful if kids were around to enable our shenanigans. Thus, our wedding weekend will be adults-only, unless children are specifically noted on your invitation. We know this may require some extra planning, and we truly appreciate your understanding.

Our theme for the weekend is “Surrealist Garden Party.” We encourage you to to interpret and lean into that however feels exciting to you. Completely ignore it, or fully embrace it! Your colors don’t have to match, your outfit does not have to fit, and your socks can be on your hands.

For the ceremony on Saturday, think: Playful yet elevated, bright colors and jewel tones, funky patterns, fun shapes/textures, whimsical accessories, unexpected combinations. If you’re wanting inspiration, check out this Pinterest board for some fun ideas. More than anything, we want you to wear what feels fun, expressive, and celebratory to YOU.

Note that we’ll be spending a lot of time outdoors on grass, so wear comfortable shoes (no stilettos) and layers for the chilly evenings.

Food has always been at the heart of our relationship. It’s how we met (shout out to Real Food ASU), and it’s one of our favorite ways to bring people together. Sharing meals is part of how we build community, and we wanted to bring that spirit to the wedding weekend.

We'll be providing plant-based meals including dinner on Friday, brunch and dinner on Saturday and Sunday, and breakfast on Monday. Saturday's dinner will be catered, while the other meals will feature some of our favorite recipes, lovingly prepared by friends and family (you!).

That being said, if you enjoy cooking and would like to help prepare a meal, we’d love that! Please reach out to one of us if that sounds like fun to you.

FYI: All meals will be plant-based, with limited meat available. If meat is important to you, feel free to bring some along and cook it in your cabin’s kitchen!

We'll be providing alcoholic and nonalcoholic drinks during the wedding dinner and reception. Outside of that, please bring along any favorite beverages you’d like to enjoy throughout the weekend!

Even if you’re not staying with us, we encourage you to come hang out as much as possible throughout the weekend! There is a 10-minute ferry boat from Anacortes to Guemes Island that runs every 30 minutes. The last ferry leaves Guemes at 11pm on Friday and Saturdays, 10pm on Sundays.
